Father's Day is just around the corner, June 21st to be exact.  I find it best to start shopping early for this holiday.  I like to look at all my options and hopefully come up with something perfectly suited to my Dad.  After our warehouse sale on Saturday, all of us at Red Tree were ready for a good cook out and cooling summer drinks.  As a result, we have chosen Father's Day gifts based on that idea.  If your  Dad is not a griller or mixologist, make sure to check back.  We will be posting more options before the big day!




Master of the Grill Set :: Dad's Awesome Grilling Book is reminiscent in style and feel, of an old text book.  Printed with large font and great diagrams this is the perfect book for someone with a sense of humor and a desire to learn all the tricks of the trade.  Make sure to get him started with a bottle of Low Country Barbecue Sauce.  Hailing from low country South Carolina, these sauces are made by the Brown family in Atlanta, GA using the same recipies that they have used for generations.  Whether you are prefer a tangy vinegar or a sweeter tomato based sauce you can not go wrong with either of these. 



South of the Border :: Tequila has had a renaissance recently.  No longer is it primarily the drink of drunken coed's and vacations in Mexico.  It is refined and perfect for sipping during the humid summer months. This book has a detailed history of the spirit followed with unique cocktails, savory Tequila inspired dishes, and mouth watering desserts.  The glass decanter is the perfect match for your libations!



If beer is more your Dad's idea of fun, treat him to a beer candle.  Interestingly, it has a very nice scent.  Make sure that he does not leave home without his Bottle 'Biner.  Just the thing for any emergency drinking situation.  Works on corks and caps, perfect for picnics and camping...not rock climbing!

Mother's Day is fast approaching, May 10th to be exact!  We have so many great cards and gifts to fit every mother's style. Perhaps a set of  stylish pink mustaches would tickle your mother's fancy.  If she is a bit  more traditional the Gardenia Royal candle will be sure to please.  A new scent for Kobo this spring, the candle fills the room with gardenia, heliotrope and blushed apricot aromas.  If your mom lives more than a day trip away suggest a trip with a handsome toiletry bag filled with some of your favorite travel items.  Make sure that the sentiment comes from the heart and she will be happy!

As Easter approaches it is important to think long and hard about the perfect Easter basket for your loved one.  Will you be the traditionalist and give them sugar coated marshmallows, or will you surprise them with hand crafted milk chocolate covered marshmallows?  Route 29 candy, crafted in the states, is a yummy company with various treats to choose from.  A store favorite are the vanilla with marshmallow caramels in dark chocolate, yum!
